Laboratory Work Islands
Work islands make it easy for students or staff to collaborate on projects. It is designed to support up to four pairs of groups. Each pair can have their own access to RO water, air, gasses, vacuum and a sink, and drawers that can hold all the items they might need.
Locked Glass Doors
Keep hazardous supplies and expensive equipment secure but visible with locked glass doors. If in a classroom setting, locked casework drawers and cabinets can be used to securely store students’ personal belongings.
Raceways
Ethernet, electrical and plumbing can be built into work islands and base cabinets without visible wires and plumbing with our raceways. The raceways facilitate nine outlets per island, and are easy to access for maintenance personnel.
Angled Tops
Custom pass-through cabinets can have angled tops to make cleaning even easier.
Work Surfaces
We offer ultra chemical resistant and durable phenolic resin worksurfaces, so your lab is both safe and long-lasting.
applications
At a lab in Dallas, we built a custom configured laboratory that allows each student to have their own locked cabinet space that properly fits their microscope and other supplies. We installed base cabinets with sinks and upper cabinets along one wall of the classroom, and a long work island with an added sink and storage space for the instructor’s desk. We also added aluminum framed consoles with wheels to transport equipment between classrooms.
